What should Recruiting assess?
EuliAiChecklist
Get aligned before you start hiring.
A good hiring process starts before the job ad goes live.
Use this checklist with your hiring manager to clarify what you're actually hiring for, what success looks like and how you'll assess it.
Go through the sections with your hiring manager and mark them complete as you align on the role.
Capture the outcome in your notes or, where appropriate and with everyone's consent, use your organisation's approved transcription tool.
When you are done, bring the transcript or your notes to EuliAI and turn them into a structured Hiring Kit.

Prepare
A good hiring kick-off starts before the meeting. Spend 10–15 minutes gathering the information that's already available so you can use the conversation for the questions that actually need discussion.
The goal isn't to arrive knowing everything. It's to avoid spending the kick-off asking questions you could have answered yourself.

For every requirement, ask one question first: Is this really necessary to succeed in the role?
If nobody knows how a requirement will be assessed, challenge whether it really belongs in the must-have list.
A hiring kick-off shouldn't only define what you want from candidates. It should also clarify why a strong candidate would choose you.
Don't start by scheduling interviews. Start with what needs to be assessed.
What should Recruiting assess?
What requires deeper functional or role-specific assessment?
What is important enough that the candidate should demonstrate it?
Is it necessary and what unique signal does it add?
Every critical criterion needs an owner.
Every interview stage needs a purpose.
Agree on the rules before meeting candidates, not after developing a favourite.
